Starting in June, you receive a mason jar arrangement, once a week for 5 weeks, exploding with homegrown beautiful blooms.
The arrangements are unique, seasonal and oh so fresh. They include our premium blooms of the moment. This summer, we are growing garden roses, sunflower, rudbekia, ranunculus, iris, echinacea, yarrow, snapdragons, feverfew, bachelor buttons, canterbury bells, bells of ireland, cosmos, alliums, sage, mint, bee balm and carrot flower.

Welcome to Down Home Flowers, a seasonally-focused flower shop and mini-farm located in South-East Arvada, Colorado. Everything we offer is homegrown in Colorado and most of it we grow ourselves.

We offer fresh flowers during the growing season, April through October, and our homegrown & handcrafted gifts all year long. These are available for delivery or pick-up in Arvada and the surrounding area including Denver, Golden, Westminster and Broomfield. You can also find us at the Louisville Farmers' Market.

All of our designs are unique to each arrangement and feature our freshest blooms. When we need a little extra, we source only Colorado grown flowers from local front range farms.

More About Our Shop

We are a small, family-owned business providing Arvada, CO and surrounding area with our locally-grown flowers for pick-up or delivery. Depending on the season, we offer fresh, dried & pressed flowers, as well as houseplants, body products infused with our homegrown herbs & flowers and garden goodies for your kitchen and apothecary. From our garden straight to you or your loved one's doorstep!

Our goal is to be sustainable and work locally. We start most of our plants from seed, purchase supplies locally, practice chemical-free gardening and exercise smart water usage. Our style combines showy focal flowers with wildflowers and native greenery, mostly grown ourselves. We let nature help dictate our designs and that way we do not need to import flowers and we keep our carbon footprint low. We believe our flowers are more than just a commodity - they bring joy to you or your loved ones, they revitalize the air, they feed the pollinators and add beauty to the world.

We started this business for two main reasons. First is just that we love to grow things! Flowers, herbs, vegetables, perennials, annuals, biennials, shrubs, trees - we love them all! Second, we wanted to offer something we had a hard time finding for ourselves - a locally-crafted, high vibrational and thoughtful gift to send a loved one when you couldn't be there in person. It is the upmost importance to us to be rooted in quality. We craft each gift with conscious attention to embrace the natural magic flowers provide. We strive to work with nature and the seasons to create something unique to send your love from a distance.

I am posting on behalf of my boss. She asked me to send something nice to a friend of hers who was in recovery from a surgery. I was able to easily go onto the website, make the order, and explain the circumstances.
My boss called them today to make sure the delivery was completed, and was pleasantly surprised. The person on the phone knew exactly who it was, and was able to confirm delivery. That wasn't all though, they were so kind and relayed that the friend was incredibly happy with the gift. They also thanked her for choosing them. They handled this delivery with such love and care.
They even went as far as to text me a photo of the completed order afterwards! Very kind. 10/10 recommend.
